34.6 kg's down. My goal at the start of the year was to lose 30kg by Christmas. I NEVER imagined I would stick to the programme so well. Don't get me wrong, I haven't been perfect, but if I have slipped up I have managed to count it into the programme and get back on track. This is probably the BIGGEST CHANGE OF ALL!! Previously on WW if I have blown it, I just kept on eating. I am having really tasty meals and experiment with my cooking, having all my favourites but changing the way I cook it. I do measure and weigh everything though, and count all my points. It is alot of mucking around, but it does pay off, that way I know I can have a treat if I want to. Sometime's you will be surprised at what you are able to have.
Thing's I can do now I couldn't do before:
*can wrap a normal size towel around me
*can bend down to dry the bottom of my legs after a shower
*can fit into a chair that has arm's
*can run around with my kids
*don't have cracked heel's anymore
*can do up a pair of shoes with laces
*asthma has dis-appeared
*have alot more confidence
Getting around is definetly alot easier, I am even walking faster than my kid's and have to stop and wait for them now! I am much happier, energetic and I take more pride in my appearance. I found some really awful photo's after I had Paris and I can't believe how much I let myself go. It is not often that I sit around and do nothing. I seem to be on the go all the time now! If I am feeling like this after losing over 30kg, imagine how I will feel when I have lost another 30. Can't wait!!

Hey Carmen,
I see from your stats that you are doing great! You have totally surpassed me and are doing a fantastic job. You must be feeling so much better. Keep up the great work!
you look sooooo good Carmen. 45kgs & going down. fabulous!!! please, please, please when you get to goal, don't stop. I am a relapsed Lifetime member of WW & am on my way down again (with 40 kgs to go) -- somehow when I got there before, I stopped what I was doing (big mistake!!) & eventually went back to my old ways . . . . it is so hard to get off, when I get there this time I have finally learnt after all these years, I have to continue what I was doing, add a few more points for maintenance & KEEP MOVING . . . I luv the list of little things you can do now . . . . they are such a milestone in your journey. I noticed the other day the towel goes around me more now, I can put my socks & runners on easier . . . . they might be little things, but make a big difference. I remember last time the feeling of even fitting behind the steering wheel better in the car. when you make healthy food choices, you feel so much more energetic & able to do more don't you.
Keep up the good work, well done & good wishes for your continued healthy lifestyle . . . . . Margaret
Carmen, I think your date & time clock are out a bit, I put this comment on your blog on Sunday 21st at 7.30am, not what it says.
No wonder I thought it was out - you live in NZ . . .
